GL-ONC1

Preclinical Tumor Therapy

Preclinical animal studies at the Company’s laboratories and at those of its research collaborators, GL-ONC-1 have established a compelling preclinical profile. In animal models, tumor stabilization and/or elimination was observed in more than 25 different human cancers, including:

  • Pancreatic Cancer
  • Mesothelioma
  • Breast Cancer
  • Lung Cancer
  • Ovarian Cancer
  • Prostate Cancer
  • Kidney Cancer
  • Bone Cancer (Osteosarcoma)
  • Head & Neck Cancer (Squamous Cell carcinoma and Thyroid carcinoma)
  • Melanoma
  • Colon Cancer
  • Cervical Cancer
  • Renal-Cell Carcinoma
  • Pediatric Cancers
  • Medulloblastoma
  • Wilm’s Tumor
  • Rhabdoid Tumor
  • Rhabdomyosarcoma

GL-ONC1 has shown that it can safely colonize and replicate selectively in cell lines in-vitro and in solid human tumors in nude mice across multiple cancer types and cancer cell lines. While GL-ONC1 has not yet been evaluated in hematological cancers, it is possible that GL-ONC1 could have therapeutic effects in both solid and non-solid tumors.
